Archduchess Eleonore Maria Devin donates 1.5 million dollars to help Children with Special Needs in America

The Archduchess generously donated $1.5 million dollars to several different charities focused on benefitting children with special needs on May 16, 2014.  In her announcement during a private conference on Friday, May 16, 2014 she shared with attendees that this cause is very special and close to her heart.  

"This cause needs our attention.  I speak from personal experience for someone very dear to me in knowing how some of these children are looked at by the rest of society and it breaks my heart.  The moments of which I have had the privilege of spending with these children have taught me more than most moments that I have shared with individuals my own age or older.  These children are true blessings and I feel honored to be able to assist these organizations in any way possible."

The Archduchess announced that she will be visiting the United States for an unknown duration in order to spend time with each organization personally and to have the opportunity to reach out to the children.

"I will be stepping away from my duty within Europe and Asia to visit each of these facilities in the United States as well as the children there.  I would sincerely appreciate the privacy and respect from all of you to do so.  I also would like to offer my praise and appreciation to those of you throughout our lands that offer their resources and time to this cause.  These children are true beauty."

Archduchess Eleonore Maria Devin continues to teach individuals, both old and young, how to give back.  Already participating in many of our charities for such causes in Europe and Asia, she spreads her heart to the United States.
